For every ounce in the tube, we get 100 brushings. So what other fun things can we squirt? How many sundaes can a bottle of Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup cover? How many hot dogs can a bottle of ketchup serve? Let’s do the math to find out!
Wee ones: A pea can fit on the tip of your finger. Find something in your classroom that’s smaller than your finger.
Little kids: If you squirt Hershey’s syrup on 5 bowls of ice cream and then eat them one by one, what numbers do you say to count down from 5? Bonus: If you have 7 bowls and squirt on every other bowl starting with the 1st, which number bowls do you skip?
Big kids: If you squirt a 6-inch line of ketchup on each hot dog, how many of those hot dog squirts do you need to make a 16-foot long line of ketchup? (Reminder: 1 foot has 12 inches.) Bonus: If 1 bottle of Hershey’s can cover 30 sundaes and 1 ketchup bottle can cover 40 hot dogs, which one covers more snacks, 5 Hershey bottles or 4 ketchup bottles?
